Psychologist Gizem Tüzen was born in Bursa, where she completed her primary, secondary and high school education. She graduated with honors from Yeditepe University's Psychology department in 2017 and successfully completed the pedagogical formation certificate program the same year. She received the title of Clinical Psychologist in 2019 from Istanbul Medipol University's Clinical Psychology Master's program with her thesis on "The mediating role of alexithymia in the relationship between depression, anxiety and stress with emotional eating."
During her master's education, she worked as a volunteer psychologist at Kartal Municipality Women's Advisory Center and completed her clinical internship at Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital. She has received certified training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT for Children, Adolescents and Families, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
